This role sits at the intersection of customer applications, product development, and advanced metrology, helping customers unlock the full value of AFM technology in semiconductor manufacturing. /p pYou’llwork closely with customers, engineering teams, and product specialists to deliver technical evaluations, investigate measurement challenges, and help shape future product improvements. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for someone withsignificant bhands-on AFM experience /bwho wants to build their customer-facingexpertisewhile contributing to the development ofcutting-edge bmetrology /btechnology. /p pbWhat you'll be doing /b /p ul liDelivering customer demonstrations, evaluations, and measurement projects /li liSupporting customers with application, metrology, and process characterisation challenges /li liPresenting and communicating technical results and application findings to customers and internal teams /li liTroubleshooting multidisciplinary issues involving software, optics, electronics, algorithms, and mechanical systems /li liCollaborating with Engineering and RD teams to investigate product performance and customer feedback /li liSupporting application development projects that improve customer workflows and system performance /li liActing as the voice of the customer, helping identifyopportunities for future product enhancements /li liDeveloping application methods, workflows, and best practices /li liSupporting andmaintainingour applications laboratory capability /li liTravelling internationally and to the UK(approximately10-20%) to support customer projects and evaluations /li /ul pbWe'd love to hear from you if you have experience with /b /p ul liAtomic Force Microscopy (AFM) /li liSemiconductor metrology /li liSemiconductor process characterisation /li liSurface analysis and nanoscale measurement /li liScanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) /li liSemiconductor inspection and measurement systems /li liData analysis and technical problem solving /li liScientific or engineering instrumentation /li liAround5years' experience in a technical engineering or scientific environment /li libHands-on experience with AFM systems /b /li liSupporting technical projects, demonstrations, or customer evaluations /li liExposure to semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, or advanced instrumentation /li liStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills /li liAbility to present and communicate complex technical concepts clearly /li liExperience working across engineering, scientific, and commercial teams /li liWillingness to travel internationallyup to 20 percent and to workonsite everyday /li /ul pThis role needs someone who already has the bpermanent right to work in the UK or EU with ability to travel globally without restriction. /b /p pbPerson type /b /p pYou’ll be working in a small team and liaising with global colleagues so you will need to be adaptable, able to work proactively and get things done at pace, often under pressure.
