- AI-enabled IT risk & resilience initiatives Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance sector, is driving an ambitious AI-enabled IT transformation and is looking for a Senior AI IT Risk, Compliance & Operational Resilience Consultant to join our client's team on a 12‑month contract in central Brussels.
You will work closely with IT, Data, Architecture, Digital Technologies & AI teams to strengthen governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, operational resilience and fraud prevention around AI, cloud and ICT services, with a strong focus on regulations such as the AI Act, DORA, GDPR and Cra.
Key skills & expertise IT Risk & IT Governance (10 years)
- Assess and manage ICT and AI risks, define frameworks and controls across complex IT environments Operational Risk & Compliance (10 years)
- Identify operational, cyber, regulatory, contractual and fraud risks and drive remediation plans Audit, Internal Control or Risk Management
- Prepare and support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections with structured evidence Financial/Insurance Sector Experience
- Apply industry-specific risk and compliance practices within a regulated environment Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Produce professional risk registers, dashboards, impact assessments and executive reporting AI & Generative AI Understanding
- Evaluate risks linked to AI models, training data, LLMs and third‑party AI services European AI Act Knowledge
- Interpret and translate AI Act obligations into practical governance and compliance measures Operational Resilience & Cybersecurity xlxgzvr for AI
- Strengthen resilience and security controls around AI-driven systems Cloud, Outsourcing & ICT Risks
- Advise on critical supplier management, exit strategies and outsourced service risk DORA, GDPR & Third‑Party Frameworks
- Align AI and ICT activities with EU regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations Collaboration with IT, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & Digital Teams
- Work cross‑functionally to embed risk, compliance and resilience in Ai4it programmes Languages English: Fluent Dutch: Basic French: Basic
