Brunel is currently looking for an experienced F5 Network & Security Engineer for a project in Schaarbeek.
Do you have strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP solutions and enjoy improving application availability, security, and network traffic management? Then you might be the consultant we are looking forJob Description As an F5 Network & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing F5-based services.
You will work closely with technical stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing application delivery services across the infrastructure.
Design and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions for application delivery and traffic managementManage virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, iRules, SSL profiles, and traffic policiesAdminister SSL/TLS certificates, encryption settings, traffic inspection, and reportingSupport Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations and policy managementIntegrate authentication and access management solutions using F5 APMPerform performance tuning, capacity planning, and service optimizationSupport incident, problem, and change management activitiesExecute software upgrades, security patching, and lifecycle managementTroubleshoot connectivity, availability, and application delivery issuesCreate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharingParticipation in operational support activities may be required depending on business needs.
You'll work 2–3 days on-site in Schaarbeek, the remaining days working remotely.
ProfileYou have a solid background in enterprise networking and security environments, combined with proven experience designing and managing F5 solutions.
Advanced experience with F5 BIG-IP platformsStrong knowledge of load balancing and high-availability architecturesHands-on experience with SSL/TLS, certificate management, and encryption technologiesExcellent understanding of IP networking within data center and multi-site environmentsGood knowledge of network security concepts and firewall technologies (Checkpoint and Palo Alto)Experience with troubleshooting, performance optimization, and lifecycle managementFluent in Dutch, French, and English.
