You want to solve real-world problems, uncover patterns others miss, and use AI to fight financial crime. /bFor a large AI organization within the financial sector, we are looking for an experienced bSenior Data Scientist Fraud Detection /b who wants to play a key role in developing advanced fraud detection models. You'll join a multidisciplinary team of AI specialists, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers working on innovative AI solutions that improve both customer experiences and internal operations. /p h3What will you do? /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and continuously improve fraud detection models. /li liAnalyze large volumes of transactional and customer data to uncover fraud patterns and emerging threats. /li liApply machine learning, anomaly detection, graph analytics, and behavioral analytics techniques. /li liPerform feature engineering, data enrichment, and data preparation to maximize model performance. /li liInvestigate new fraud schemes and proactively develop detection strategies. /li liCollaborate closely with Fraud Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams. /li liTranslate business challenges into scalable analytical and AI-driven solutions. /li liMonitor, evaluate, and continuously optimize model performance. /li liContribute to the growth of AI-driven decision-making within the organization. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum 7 years of experience in Data Science. /li liProven experience in fraud detection, risk analytics, financial crime, or related analytical domains. /li liStrong programming skills in Python and SQL. /li liExperience with Spark, Hadoop, or distributed data processing environments. /li liStrong background in machine learning and advanced statistical methods. /li liExperience with anomaly detection, graph analytics, network analysis, or behavioral analytics is highly valued. /li liExperience deploying and maintaining AI solutions in production environments. /li liMaster's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders. /li liFluent in Dutch, French, and English. /li /ul h3This role is probably for you if... /h3 ul liYou enjoy tackling problems with real financial and societal impact. /li liYou view machine learning as a means to solve business challenges, not as an end goal. /li liYou are naturally curious about emerging fraud techniques and innovative detection methods. /li liYou thrive in complex analytical environments. /li liYou enjoy collaborating with both technical experts and business teams. /li liYou want to contribute to one of the most innovative AI organizations in the financial sector. /li /ul pBonus points if you have experience with Graph Analytics, Network Analysis, Generative AI, Fraud Analytics, or Financial Crime Detection. /p /p
