We are seeking a Senior HR Technology Specialist to join our team. You will be a strategic technology partner to the HR function, designing and implementing technology solutions and automation initiatives that optimize HR processes, unlock data insights, and drive operational excellence. You will combine deep technical expertise with HR domain knowledge to translate business needs into scalable, intelligent solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Solution Design: Partner with HR leadership to identify technology and automation opportunities across HR domains. Design solutions that address business challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.
Automation & AI Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of HR process automation and AI-driven solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies (RPA, machine learning, generative AI) for HR applications. Prototype, test, and scale automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve quality.
HRIS & Systems Landscape Management: Maintain deep expertise in the HR systems ecosystem (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.). Understand data flows, system integrations, and technical constraints. Recommend system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades that support HR strategy.
Data Analytics & Insights: Develop analytical frameworks and dashboards to measure HR program performance and operational efficiency. Use data to identify improvement opportunities, validate automation ROI, and guide strategic decisions. Translate complex data into actionable insights for HR leadership.
Process Optimization Through Technology: Conduct systematic reviews of HR processes to identify automation and technology opportunities. Design optimized workflows that leverage technology to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and enhance stakeholder experience.
Technical Governance & Best Practices: Establish data governance frameworks, system standards, and best practices for HR technology. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across the HR technology landscape.
Stakeholder Enablement: Work with HR teams and business stakeholders to understand technology needs and drive adoption of new solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful implementation and change management.
Let's talk about youExperience & QualificationsYou have demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in HR technology, business systems, data analytics, process automation, or related technical fieldsBachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, Data Science, Human Resources, or related fieldProven track record in designing and implementing HR technology solutions, process automation, or data analytics initiativesStrong understanding of HR processes and systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, payroll platforms)Experience with automation tools, scripting, or programming languages (a plus)Experience with AI/ML applications or emerging technologies in HR (a plus)Excellent knowledge of English is required; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plusCore CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Deep understanding of HR systems, data architecture, and automation technologies.
Comfortable evaluating and recommending technical solutions. Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect technology initiatives to HR and business objectives. Anticipates future technology needs and trends. Balances innovation with pragmatism.
Problem-Solving & Innovation: Creative mindset with strong analytical skills. Comfortable identifying complex problems, designing solutions, and iterating based on feedback. Passionate about leveraging technology to solve HR challenges.
Data Literacy & Analytics: Excellent analytical skills. Comfortable working with data, building dashboards, and deriving insights. Understands data quality, governance, and security principles.
Communication & Collaboration: Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences—from HR teams to IT partners to senior leadership. Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working across functions.
