Your Mission
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, optimisation, and implementation of pricing strategies across the Cotton Group.
The role requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced Excel skills, curiosity, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pricing Analysis & Optimisation
- Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies across product categories.
- Build and maintain pricing analysis models and tools to support business decisions.
- Analyse pricing structures, margins, product positioning, and market opportunities.
- Support pricing decisions related to new collections and product launches.
- Identify pricing optimisation opportunities through data analysis.
- Monitor pricing performance and provide insights through regular reporting.
- Ensure pricing decisions are supported by reliable data and clear business logic. 2. Business Analysis & Decision Support
- Analyse business performance and translate data into actionable insights.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc business analyses based on stakeholder needs.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support management decisions.
- Investigate business questions through structured data analysis.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Support cross-functional teams with fact-based recommendations. 3. Pricing Tools & Process Development
- Develop and continuously improve Excel-based pricing tools and analysis files.
- Structure and standardise pricing analysis processes.
- Improve data quality and consistency within pricing activities.
- Support the implementation of new methodologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing processes and analytical capabilities. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Finance, and sales teams.
- Act as an analytical partner by providing insights and recommendations.
- Support stakeholders with clear and structured analyses.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and pricing decisions. 5. Continuous Improvement & Ad Hoc Analysis
- Handle a wide range of analytical requests, including recurring reporting and ad hoc business questions.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes and reporting efficiency.
- Challenge existing approaches and propose data-driven improvements.
- Develop expertise in the business, products, and pricing environment of the Cotton Group. Profile Education & Experience
- 4 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, pricing, consulting, finance, commercial analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex problems and derive actionable insights.
- First professional experience in pricing is a strong advantage.
- Experience in consulting, Big 4, or business analysis environments is highly valued.
- Strong Excel skills with proven experience building analytical models and tools.
- Fluency in English (minimum C1); French is a nice-to-have.
- Experience in Salesforce or similar business tools is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
- Experience in B2B, B2B2C, wholesale, distribution, retail, FMCG, or similar environments.
- Experience working with pricing methodologies, commercial analytics, or revenue management.
- Exposure to data-driven decision-making environments.
