SAP S/4HANA & ECC Technical Consultant Luxembourg | Hybrid Finance Transformation Programme Are you an experienced SAP technical professional who enjoys working across S/4HANA and ECC, solving complex integration challenges and continuously improving SAP environments? We are looking for an SAP S/4HANA & ECC Technical Consultant to join a major Finance Transformation Programme in Luxembourg. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong SAP technical knowledge with a problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset. You will work across a hybrid SAP landscape, supporting operations, integration and transformation while helping automate repetitive activities and establish robust operational practices. The role You will:
- Provide hands-on technical support across SAP S/4HANA and legacy ECC environments.
- Contribute to both SAP implementation and support activities.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues across SAP systems and integrated applications.
- Support system integration, interfaces and data flows between SAP and surrounding systems.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve technical processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, operating procedures and runbooks.
- Work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders and external technical partners.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of the SAP landscape throughout the Finance Transformation Programme. What you bring
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, covering both S/4HANA and ECC.
- Experience across both implementation and production support environments.
- Strong technical understanding of SAP modules, system integration and interface management.
- Experience troubleshooting and managing interfaces across complex SAP landscapes.
- A Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related SAP-focused discipline.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear and practical runbooks and operational documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and automation.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken. Nice to have
- Official SAP certification in FI/CO, MM and/or SD.
- Experience within a Finance Transformation Programme.
- Exposure to automation, process optimisation or SAP operational excellence.
