MEDICAL & SCIENTIFIC MANAGER - BX

The Medical & Scientific Manager is the local

Medical Affairs and scientific reference for BX , with a strong focus on

medical imaging, including MRI and X-ray-based imaging . Combining Medical Affairs expertise with scientific leadership and a field-based remit, you will build trusted relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals, generate actionable local medical insights and support high-quality scientific engagement around our products. You will contribute to the development and execution of local Medical Affairs strategy while bringing the voice of the BX medical and scientific community into the organization. This role requires a

proactive, autonomous and scientifically credible professional

who enjoys being externally focused and working in close partnership with Commercial and other cross-functional teams while maintaining the independence and integrity of Medical Affairs.

Key Responsibilities Medical Affairs & Scientific Engagement Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with KOLs, radiologists, radiographers, physicists, researchers and other healthcare professionals. Conduct high-quality scientific exchange based on current evidence and approved scientific information. Identify emerging experts, scientific leaders and centers of excellence within medical imaging. Support advisory boards, expert meetings, congresses, educational activities and other Medical Affairs initiatives. Respond to medical and scientific enquiries in accordance with applicable regulations, industry codes and company procedures. Scientific Leadership & Insights Act as the local scientific reference for medical imaging, particularly

MRI and X-ray-based imaging . Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant literature, clinical evidence, guidelines, technologies and scientific developments. Gather and communicate meaningful insights on clinical practice, unmet medical needs, evidence gaps and evolving standards of care. Translate local insights into actionable recommendations and identify opportunities for evidence generation and scientific engagement. KOL & External Network Development Develop a strong local network of established and emerging KOLs and scientific experts. Identify appropriate experts and speakers for advisory boards, educational programs and scientific activities. Represent the company as a credible scientific partner within the BX medical imaging community. Cross-functional Partnership Work closely with Commercial while maintaining clear Medical Affairs independence and compliance. Provide scientific expertise for appropriate customer engagement and help internal teams understand clinical evidence and context. Collaborate with Global and Regional Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, R&D, Marketing and other relevant functions. Ensure a strong two-way flow of medical and scientific information between the BX field environment and the broader organization. What You Bring Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, biomedical sciences, radiography or another relevant scientific/healthcare discipline. Experience in

Medical Affairs, MSL, Medical Information, Clinical Research, Scientific Affairs

or a related scientific/healthcare role. Experience within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostic imaging or the wider healthcare industry. Strong experience engaging with

KOLs and healthcare professionals . Ability to work independently and proactively in a field-based environment. Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills. Experience working cross-functionally, including partnership with Commercial teams. Experience with scientific meetings, congresses, medical education and/or advisory boards is an advantage. Experience in

contrast media, radiology or medical imaging is highly desirable . Strong understanding of the BX healthcare environment. Excellent written and spoken English.
