AI Engineer – Azure

pOur client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for an AI Engineer to transition AI prototypes into scalable production environments. This role focuses on enhancing core processes through technical leadership in agentic automation and the further development of MLOps frameworks. /p ul liLead the end-to-end trajectory of AI solutions from proof-of-value to production-ready, scalable environments. /li liDesign and build reliable data and inference pipelines while implementing CI/CD processes and observability. /li liGuide data scientists in rolling out models that comply with high quality, security, and governance standards. /li liDevelop and implement agentic automation solutions using RAG, tool use, and robust orchestration patterns. /li liDefine evaluation and testing frameworks, including red teaming and guardrails, to ensure model robustness. /li liAdvise stakeholders on architectural choices, risks, and feasibility to prevent the development of shadow AI. /li /ul ul liYou possess 6+ years of experience in software or data engineering. /li liYou have 3+ years of experience as an bAI/ML Engineer /b or bMLOps Engineer /b with a history of bringing solutions to production. /li liYou bring expertise in bAIOps /b and bMLOps /b using bAzure DevOps /b, bGit /b, bDocker /b, bKubernetes /b, and bTerraform /b. /li liYou possess strong bPython /b skills and apply software engineering best practices like clean code and testing. /li liYou have experience with the Azure ecosystem, specifically bAzure ML /b, bAzure OpenAI /b, bAI Foundry /b, bAzure AI Search /b, bMicrosoft Fabric /b, and bAKS /b. /li liYou bring knowledge of bagentic frameworks /b, bRAG /b, bCopilot Studio /b, bdspy /b, and btool use/function calling /b. /li liYou have experience with bmodel registries /b, bfeature stores /b, bexperiment tracking /b, and bmonitoring /b. /li liYou are a strong communicator with a coaching attitude and the ability to explain technical choices to non-technical peers. /li liYou are fluent in bDutch /b and bEnglish /b with basic knowledge of bFrench /b. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liKnowledge of bsecurity /b, bgovernance /b, bRBAC /b, bdata privacy /b, and the bEU AI Act /b. /li liExperience with bVector Databases /b. /li liDomain knowledge of the insurance industry. /li /ul ul libStart date: /b ASAP /li libDuration: /b 1 year /li libWork regime: /b Full-time /li libLocation: /b Berchem /li libWorking model: /b Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite) /li libContract: /b open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
