Electrical Engineer (Medior)
Your
responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will join an industrial site in Wallonia and provide technical and operational support to the electrical maintenance and project teams. You will contribute to an important electrical remediation program, as well as several CAPEX and SMR projects, ensuring the quality, compliance and proper execution of electrical studies and works. Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as the technical interface between the electrical maintenance teams and CAPEX/SMR project teams
- Participate in the design and development of electrical installations for small and medium-sized industrial projects
- Review and validate technical deliverables, including electrical schematics, power balances and calculation notes
- Perform or update electrical calculations and verify the correct sizing of low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) installations
- Ensure that electrical designs and installations comply with applicable regulations, in particular RGIE
- Review technical documentation and coordinate corrections with engineering and project teams
- Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications, tender documents and requests for quotation
- Support project managers with technical input, planning and coordination activities
- Follow up electrical works and interventions on site, participate in site meetings and monitor technical deviations
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, ensuring the quality and proper execution of their work
- Provide technical support to the maintenance teams as part of the site's electrical remediation program
- Identify technical issues, investigate their root causes and propose appropriate solutions
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Support the delivery of internal electrical infrastructure projects, including projects involving budgets of several hundred thousand euros
Your profile
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering
- Proven experience in electrical design and electrical calculations
- Experience working in an industrial environment, ideally within a complex and highly regulated site
- Good knowledge of low-voltage electrical networks and industrial electrical infrastructure
- Experience with electrical calculation software such as Caneco, Elec Calc or an equivalent tool
- Ability to prepare, review and validate electrical calculation notes
- Good knowledge of RGIE and applicable electrical safety and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting or coordinating industrial engineering projects
- Ability to contribute to technical specifications and tender processes
- Experience with site supervision, contractor coordination and technical follow-up is a strong asset
- Experience with CAPEX projects is a plus
- BA5 electrical qualification is mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Autonomous, structured and able to take ownership of technical topics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
