In this context, we are looking for a proactive, client-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal colleagues, helping them navigate our IT landscape, troubleshooting daily technical issues, and ensuring seamless onboarding for new hires. You will manage our hardware lifecycle and keep our ticketing queue running smoothly. °°Your

key responsibilities

- User onboarding & system setup: Prepare, configure, and deploy workstations (laptops/desktops, peripherals, mobile devices) for new hires. Conduct initial IT walkthroughs to help new team members get acquainted with our software, security protocols, and internal systems.
- Helpdesk & ticket management: Monitor, prioritize, and resolve incoming technical support requests via our IT ticketing queue in a timely manner, providing clear communication throughout the process.
- Hardware & asset management: Maintain accurate inventory records for all PC assets, peripherals, and software licenses. Track check-ins, check-outs, repairs, and hardware decommissioning.
- General IT & workplace support: Troubleshoot day-to-day hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating system (Windows/macOS/Linux) issues.
- Peripherals maintenance: Oversee office hardware including multifunction printers, conference room AV systems, network switches, and local desk setups
- Documentation & knowledge sharing: Create and update user-facing guides and internal IT documentation to promote self-service and improve team efficiency.
- IT project support & migrations: Hands-on participation and eager assistance in complex IT system, cloud, or infrastructure migrations alongside senior team members. °°Profile°° Experience & Education
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk / Technical Support role, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related field).
- Above all, a strong drive and motivation to grow within the IT field Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), or identity management tools.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting). Hands-on experience with firewall management and network traffic filtering (familiarity with gateway firewalls like AXS Guard or Unifi is a significant advantage). Languages
- French: Fluent written and spoken communication skills (required for daily user support).
- English: Daily professional use to handle technical documentation, systems, and internal communication.
- Dutch: Dutch language skills are considered a strong plus. Process & tools
- Hands-on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow, Freshdesk) and asset management software. Human skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to translate technical jargon into simple terms for non-technical users. Preferred qualifications
- Certification for Azure or Google environments
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or Bash) for routine task automation.
