ph3Application Architect / Functional Analyst /h3h3Role Overview /h3pWe are looking for an experienced Application Architect / Functional Analyst to support the modernization of a complex IT environment combining legacy systems with modern Cloud and hybrid architectures. You will help improve architecture, reduce technical debt, and ensure secure, scalable and maintainable solutions. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform functional and technical analysis for business projects. /liliDesign and review application, data and integration architectures. /liliAdvise development teams on technologies, architectural patterns, performance and scalability. /liliLead design reviews and validate Proofs of Concept. /liliEnsure compliance with architecture, security and development standards. /liliBridge communication between business, development, security and infrastructure teams. /liliAnalyse and resolve complex business and technical problems. /liliEnsure consistency between legacy and modern systems. /liliApply bSecurity by Design /b principles and translate bNIS2 /b requirements into technical measures. /liliDocument architectural decisions and support knowledge sharing within teams. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliStrong experience in bfunctional analysis and application architecture /b. /liliExpert knowledge of bmodern Java, Spring, microservices, API-driven and event-driven architectures /b. /liliGood knowledge of bdata modelling, data integration and data security /b. /liliStrong experience with brelational databases, particularly MySQL /b. /liliExcellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills. /liliStrong knowledge of bAtlassian/Jira /b. /liliExperience working within a bfederal public-sector environment /b is an advantage. /liliKnowledge of security, compliance and NIS2 requirements. /lilibLanguages: /b Dutch, French and English. /li /ulh3Assignment /h3ullibLocation: /b Brussels /lilibWork model: /b Hybrid /liliRemote work possible after the first b2 weeks onsite /b /li /ul /p
