Brussels or Liège, Belgium Contract: Freelance Start Date: Mid/End of August or September 2026 Duration: Project dependent Language: Dutch or French preferred The Opportunity We are currently looking for experienced Freelance Project Planners / Schedulers to support several upcoming construction, industrial, EPC and data centre projects across Belgium. We are particularly interested in professionals who have strong experience managing complex project schedules and who are confident working with Primavera P6 on large-scale projects. The Role As a Freelance Project Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and scheduling activities across major construction and engineering projects. Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:
- Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitoring project progress against the baseline programme
- Updating schedules and providing regular progress reports
- Identifying delays, risks and potential impacts to project delivery
- Supporting schedule forecasting and recovery planning
- Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating planning activities across multiple disciplines and project stakeholders
- Supporting project controls and ensuring schedule information remains accurate and up to date
- Contributing to project meetings and providing planning-related updates and recommendations Requirements We are looking for freelance professionals with:
- Proven experience as a Project Planner, Project Scheduler or Planning Engineer
- Strong practical experience with Primavera P6
- Previous experience on large-scale construction, industrial, EPC or data centre projects
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and progress tracking
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Dutch or French language skills
- Availability to take on a new freelance assignment from mid/end of August or September 2026
