ppInfogene Belgium (part of Vulcain Engineering Group) is looking for a bData Architect /b to join its teams. /ppIn this role, you will define and shape bmodern data architectures /b that enable organizations to leverage data as a strategic asset, enabling analytics, business intelligence, AI and enterprise digital transformation. /ppYou will support bdigital transformation initiatives /b across the bEnergy, Life Sciences and Industrial sectors /b, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and business stakeholders. /ph3ABOUT THE POSITION /h3ulliDesign and define bscalable, secure and future-proof data architectures /b aligned with business and technology objectives /liliDefine enterprise data models, integration patterns and governance principles across complex data ecosystems /liliLead the design and implementation of bmodern data platforms /b in cloud and hybrid environments /liliCollaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency across projects /liliEstablish standards and best practices related to bdata management /b, data quality, security and governance /liliDrive the adoption of modern data technologies including Data Warehousing, Lakehouse and Cloud Data Platforms /liliIdentify opportunities to optimize data flows, storage solutions and overall platform performance /liliContribute to technology roadmaps and strategic decisions regarding data architecture and digital transformation /li /ulh3KEY SKILLS /h3ulliAzure Data Factory / Azure Synapse Analytics /liliMicrosoft Fabric /liliDatabricks /liliSnowflake /liliSQL /liliData Modelling /liliData Governance /liliCloud Platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) /li /ulh3ABOUT YOU /h3ulliMaster’s degree in bcomputer science /b, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field /liliBetween b5 and 10 years of experience /b in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or Enterprise Data projects /liliStrong experience designing and implementing benterprise-scale data platforms /b /liliGood understanding of bcloud-native architectures /b, data governance frameworks and integration patterns /liliExperience with modern data technologies such as bDatabricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or similar platforms /b /liliAbility to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions /liliComfortable working in collaborative and bagile environments /b /liliProfessional proficiency in bEnglish /b is required.
