Functional Analyst

As part of a major business transformation program, the organization is looking for a Functional Analyst to strengthen existing teams responsible for the handover, refactoring, and greenfield development of new business applications.

The selected consultant will join a department of approximately 90 people and must be able to manage all phases of a project within an Agile environment, acting as the link between business stakeholders, project teams, and development teams.

Your missions:

• Develop strong and long-term relationships with business stakeholders, project stakeholders, team managers, and partners.
• Identify, analyze, describe, and validate existing business processes.
• Identify, analyze, describe, and validate new functional and non-functional user needs.
• Translate requirements into business solutions through functional analyses and application designs.
• Work with technical team members to validate functional designs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure end-to-end follow-up of the delivery of new functionalities and/or applications.
• Produce all documentation required throughout the different project stages.
• Work closely with business analysts and developers under the supervision of project managers/coordinators to refine and validate proposed solutions.
• Work closely with project managers to report status, facilitate decisions, manage risks, and escalate issues when necessary.

Delivery Follow-up

• End-to-end follow-up of new functionalities delivery.
• End-to-end follow-up of application delivery.
• Monitoring delivery progress and ensuring project objectives are met.

Documentation & Deliverables

Preparation and maintenance of:

• Analysis documentation.
• Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
• Required diagrams and analysis artefacts.
• Data models.
• User Stories.
• Test Plans.
• Test Cases.
• All project documentation required throughout the different project stages.

Collaboration & Project Support

• Collaboration with business analysts.
• Collaboration with developers.
• Collaboration with project managers and coordinators.
• Status reporting.
• Decision facilitation.
• Risk management support.
• Escalation of issues when required.
