We are currently looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our growing client in Brussels
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and workshops to gather requirements and translate business needs into user-centred designs ;
- Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma (or equivalent) ;
- Define and maintain a consistent design system based on PrimeNG components, ensuring usability, accessibility, and visual consistency ;
- Collaborate with Angular developers to ensure accurate implementation, support user testing, and participate in governance reviews ;
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and GSC branding guidelines ;
- Produce design documentation and participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- 4+ years of UX/UI design experience with an end-to-end design portfolio ;
- Strong proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) and component-based design for modern web applications ;
- Good understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum) and enterprise application design (forms, dashboards, workflows) ;
- Ability to collaborate with frontend developers and present design decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience within an EU institution or international public-sector organisation ;
- Familiarity with PrimeNG, Angular Material, or similar component libraries ;
- Experience in regulated environments, multilingual interface design, or GDPR-aware UX design.
