*Associate Attorney – Personal Injury Litigation*

*Position Overview*
We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to manage a personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial. This position requires strong litigation skills, independent judgment, and a client-centered mindset.
The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, comfortable negotiating with insurance carriers, and capable of driving case value through strategic case development.
*Duties*
* Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from retention through resolution
* Work closely with a case manager to maintain caseload
* Evaluate liability and damages
* Develop case strategies to maximize recovery
* Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
* Prepare and respond to written discovery
* Take and defend depositions
* Draft and argue motions
* Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances
* Collaborate with experts (medical, accident reconstruction, economic)
* Prepare cases for trial
*Client Relations*
* Maintain consistent communication with clients
* Advise clients on case progress and strategy
* Prepare clients for deposition, mediation, and trial
*Qualifications*
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
* 1–5 years of experience in personal injury (litigation experience preferred, or first year associate that was on Trial team in law school)
* Strong writing and research skills
* Experience taking or defending depositions preferred
* Trial experience is a plus
* Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
