We’re looking for an Accounting Manager – Benelux
For an international company, I’m looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead the accounting activities in Belgium and work closely with the wider European Finance team.
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts
- Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities
- Ensure accurate financial reporting under Belgian GAAP and IFRS
- Coordinate audits and act as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Monitor internal controls, reconciliations and accounting procedures
- Lead and support the local RTR team, working closely with international shared service teams
- Drive process improvements and contribute to finance projects
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Solid experience in general accounting, financial reporting and internal controls
- Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Previous team management experience
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- A hands-on, proactive professional who enjoys improving processes and working in an international environment
