Senior SAP MDG Specialist

h3Function /h3 pWe’re looking for an experienced Senior SAP MDG Specialist / Developer to join our client’s SAP data transformation environment. In this role, you’ll combine functional expertise with strong technical capabilities to shape, enhance and support SAP Master Data Governance solutions. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and development teams, taking ownership from solution design and implementation through testing, deployment and hypercare. /p h3Role Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement major changes and transformation initiatives across current and future SAP MDG solutions. /li liAdvise business stakeholders on SAP MDG best practices and appropriate solution approaches. /li liDevelop conceptual solution proposals for projects aimed at significantly improving or modernizing existing MDG environments. /li liAnalyze change requests and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for enhancements. /li liAct as the primary functional contact for ABAP developers, with the ability to understand technical specifications and perform debugging when required. /li liIndependently perform SAP MDG analysis, configuration and implementation activities. /li liExecute functional unit testing and coordinate integration and user acceptance testing. /li liPrepare solutions for production deployment and provide hypercare support after go-live. /li liProvide day-to-day functional support to key users, including ticket handling, bug resolution and issue analysis. /li liMonitor and troubleshoot MDG workflows and governance processes. /li liCollaborate closely with business stakeholders and contribute to clear roles and responsibilities through appropriate RACI models. /li /ul h3Profile Technical Experience /h3 ul liAt least 4 years of proven experience with SAP MDG and material master data management. /li liAt least 3 full lifecycle SAP MDG or master data management implementations. /li liStrong hands-on experience with SAP MDG Central Governance 7, including configuration, workflows and governance processes. /li liSolid experience with SAP Data Replication Framework (DRF), including interfaces and replication scenarios. /li liExperience with SAP MDG Consolidation, including matching, merging and data quality processes. /li liProven experience with BRF rules, mass changes and LSMW. /li liStrong ABAP experience, including the ability to create and understand functional and technical specifications and perform debugging. /li liExpertise in ABAP OO development and debugging within SAP MDG environments is highly valued. /li liDemonstrated ability to work independently across SAP MDG analysis, configuration and implementation activities. /li liStrong experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and translating business needs into robust SAP solutions. /li liExperience with RACI models and structured governance approaches. /li /ul h3Working Approach /h3 pYou are an analytical and hands-on SAP professional who can comfortably operate between business requirements and technical implementation. You combine deep SAP MDG expertise with a practical understanding of development, configuration, testing and data governance. You take ownership of complex issues, communicate clearly with both business and technical teams and remain focused on delivering reliable, scalable master data solutions.
