Are you a Technical Application / Service Lead with 6+ years of experience in infrastructure operations and application lifecycle management? Apply now for a long-term contract opportunity with a leading client in Zaventem.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, application management, and technical service ownership
- Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server platforms for application deployment and maintenance
- Experience in architecting infrastructure planning for the implementation of customised applications
- Experience managing licence servers and tools (e.g. FlexLM or LMtools) for licence updates, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination for renewals
- Experience administrating and managing ALM platforms (e.g. PTC products)
- Experience managing application upgrades, migration, and disaster recovery (DR) activities
- Experience working with cross-functional teams for design and project delivery
- Good understanding and knowledge of containerisation platforms (e.g. AWS ECS or equivalent)
- Good understanding and knowledge of full-stack infrastructure technologies
- Ability to define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Experience translating customer needs into detailed product requirements and user stories in JIRA
- Experience prioritising features and managing product backlogs to maximise customer and business value
- Experience managing product budgets (CAPEX/OPEX), purchase order activities, and financial forecasting
- Ability to engage with product owners and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure successful product adoption
- Ability to monitor performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvements post-launch
- Flexibility to support off-business hours for handling upgrade and migration activities when needed
- (Desirable) ITIL 4 certification
- (Desirable) Project management certification
- (Desirable) AWS CloudOps or Solutions Architect certification
- (Desirable) Product Owner certification (PSPO/CSPO)
- (Desirable) Master's degree or equivalent professional experience

Job description
- Own the lifecycle of business-critical R&D applications, including platform operations, infrastructure strategy, supplier management, product roadmap, budgeting, and continuous service improvement
- Take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical engineering applications throughout their lifecycle
- Provide end-user support to R&D engineers for customised applications and resolve business-as-usual (BAU) issues
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define roadmaps and manage requirements and backlogs
- Coordinate suppliers and oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgets
- Ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of services
- Collaborate closely with business teams, engineering/design, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects in a timely fashion by following project management processes
