Are you a detailed-oriented payroll professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and international collaboration? We are looking for a Payroll Specialist, Europe (Operations Program Specialist I) to join our dynamic Finance & Operations teamIn this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end administration, coordination, and execution of payroll operations across multiple European countries and legal entities. You will serve as the crucial link between Finance, HR, internal employees, and external payroll vendors, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while driving process improvements across the region.
What You Will Do (
Key Responsibilities
)End-to-End Payroll Execution: Manage multi-country European payroll processing, calendars, and schedules in close collaboration with local external vendors.
Data & Calculations Validation: Review and validate calculations for deductions, benefits, taxes, social security, time reporting, and statutory contributions.
Employee & Lifecycle Data: Process salary adjustments, new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and leave administration with absolute precision and confidentiality.
Payroll Accounting & Reporting: Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll reports against the General Ledger, vendor reports, and local books.
Compliance & Audits: Maintain strict documentation, SOPs, audit trails, and process controls to ensure full compliance with internal policies and local European regulations.
Employee & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and build strong working relationships with external providers and internal teams.
Process Improvement: Participate in continuous process optimization, standardization, and Finance & Operations special projects across Europe.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience coordinating complex administrative processes and managing diverse activities to meet strict deadlines.
Proven ability to generate reports, interpret complex data, and exercise strong problem-solving skills.
Strong business writing, communication, and editing skills.
High discretion and professional standard when handling confidential employee data.

Professional working proficiency in German and English is required (additional European languages are a plus).
Payroll Expertise: Solid knowledge of multi-country European payroll administration, payroll accounting, compliance, and vendor management.
Systems: Hands-on experience working with Workday (or similar HRIS/payroll platforms).
Mindset: Strong customer service focus, exceptional attention to detail, and comfort working in an international, cross-cultural environment.
