Senior Kubernetes Engineer One of our European Institution is looking for a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to strengthen its Infrastructure and Operations team. The successful candidate will join the Central Infrastructure team, responsible for the implementation and operational management of compute and storage platforms supporting critical business applications. This position focuses on the administration, security, automation and optimization of on-premises container platforms and Kubernetes environments. Your responsibilities As a Senior Kubernetes Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for: Deploying, configuring, upgrading and maintaining container platforms such as Rancher, Tanzu and OpenShift. Managing and operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments. Automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools. Implementing monitoring and observability solutions to ensure platform availability and reliability. Managing platform security, RBAC policies, network policies, secret management and workload security. Troubleshooting platform, cluster, node and container-related issues. Collaborating with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD integration and application onboarding. Performing capacity planning activities based on usage and growth forecasts. Supporting migration projects and infrastructure transformation initiatives. Conducting performance assessments and recommending improvements. Preparing and executing proofs of concept and technical studies. Delivering technical training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.

Your profile
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure and platform administration Strong experience with Kubernetes architecture and administration Proven experience managing production Kubernetes environments Hands-on experience with container platforms such as Rancher, Tanzu and/or OpenShift Good understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage and core component Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools Knowledge of application lifecycle management within Kubernetes environments Ability to write and maintain scripts using Ansible, Python or Bash Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools Technical

Skills:
Mandatory Kubernetes Rancher, Tanzu or OpenShift Ansible Helm Linux administration Monitoring and logging solutions RBAC and security management Bash, Python or scripting languages Nice to have Git ArgoCD Harbor JFrog Sysdig CI/CD environments Education Master degree and 8 years of experience minimum or Bachelor degree with 12 years of experience. Languages Fluent English (C1) Work Model Hybrid Location Brussels
