Senior Business/Data Analyst (Antwerp Region) – FreelanceFor a customer in the healthcare/pharmaceutical space in the Antwerp Region, I am looking for a Business/Data Analyst to join on a long term, freelance placement.

The organisation operates a network of 10 laboratories across Belgium, processing thousands of medical samples every day. They have strict operational requirements, including a 4-hour turnaround time (TAT) from blood sample collection to final laboratory result. Efficient routing and capacity planning are business critical.
They are currently building an analytics platform that will provide operational insights, scenario modelling, and ultimately evolve into a Digital Twin of their laboratory network. This platform will allow the business to simulate and respond to disruptions such as laboratory outages, road closures, transport delays, or infrastructure failures. This will allow for greater operational continuity and compliance with NIS2 resilience requirements.
They are looking for a senior profile who can bridge the gap between business and technology, bringing previous experience designing analytical platforms and data models for complex operational environments.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and evolve the conceptual and logical data model underpinning the enterprise analytics platform.
Act as the bridge between laboratory operations, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams.
Translate complex operational processes into scalable analytical models.
Guide the development of a platform capable of advanced scenario modelling and "what-if" simulations.
Help shape the long-term vision towards a Digital Twin of the laboratory network.
Requirements5+ Years as a Business AnalystData affinity. xdkqlui Ideally experience implementing a data platform in a previous missionLaboratory/pharmaceutical experience is appreciated but not a hard requirement.
