Package:€75,000 basic salary + allowances + food + flights + accommodation + bonusMons, BelgiumPermanentData Centres / Mission-Critical InfrastructureAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong M&E contractor background and experience delivering complex electrical projects?We’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity on a major international data centre project in Mons, Belgium, where you’ll play a key role across engineering, design coordination, procurement, installation, BIM, quality and project delivery.
The Role:You’ll be responsible for:Managing electrical engineering activities and assigned systemsReviewing IFC drawings, specifications and technical informationCoordinating electrical design through CAD/BIM teamsManaging RFIs, technical queries and technical submittalsProviding engineering support to site installation teamsCoordinating electrical installation, QA and construction work packsSupporting BIM coordination, modularisation and fabricationMonitoring engineering deliverables against the project programmeSupporting electrical procurement, material take-offs and supplier assessmentsCoordinating materials, deliveries and engineering requirementsSupporting testing, validation, snagging and client handoverAssisting with variations, valuations and commercial reportingPromoting a strong Right First-Time cultureWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years’ experience with a recognised M&E contractorStrong electrical engineering and construction experienceProven experience coordinating electrical installation projectsStrong understanding of electrical design and construction processesCAD/BIM experienceFamiliarity with Primavera or similar planning softwareExcellent technical, organisational and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilityGood understanding of project quality and H&S requirementsData centre or mission-critical experience highly desirableDesirable:HV/MV systemsElectrical & Instrumentation (E&I)BIM-led constructionModularisation and off-site fabricationTesting, validation and commissioningLarge-scale international projectsThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on a major international data centre project and develop their career within the rapidly growing mission-critical sector.
