A leading Belgian financial institution is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to support a credit regulatory reporting initiative. The role focuses on redesigning and maintaining an existing regulatory reporting IT solution in a compliance-driven environment.
The consultant will contribute both to the system redesign and to ongoing operational support activities within a structured regulatory landscape.
Requirements
- Perform functional analysis and manage system design activities
- Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis and impact assessments
- Support regulatory reporting system redesign
- Define and manage test approaches
- Provide production support and enhancement recommendations
- Collaborate with business, regulatory and IT stakeholders
- Maintain structured documentation and ensure delivery ownership
Required Skills & Expertise
Must Have
- 5+ years experience as Functional Analyst
- Experience in Banking or Insurance
- Experience in regulatory reporting (credit domain preferred)
- Strong functional analysis capabilities
- Experience in testing and quality assurance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Should Have
- IT Security awareness
Nice to Have
- Oracle / Open Systems environments
- Automation tooling exposur
