ppbMake your mark for patients /b /ppWe are looking for a bNetwork Security Lead /b who is bcurious, collaborative and forward-thinking /b to join us in our bDigital Technology team, /b based in ouroffice in bBraine, /b in bBelgium. /b /ph3About the role /h3pYou will own the design, delivery and operational security of our enterprise and manufacturing network environments. Acting as the technical authority for network security, you will make sure our environments stay secure, compliant, resilient and ready for inspection in a highly regulated pharmaceutical setting. You will shape the network security architecture, lead the security dimension of network projects, and set the direction on emerging technologies and trends. You will not be configuring systems day to day, but you will bring enough technical depth to challenge designs, anticipate end-to-end impact, and flag early when something is heading in the wrong direction. /ph3Who you'll work with /h3pYou will be working in a team that keeps UCB's global network and security landscape running and evolving. You will partner closely with the Network Lead, security teams, architects and infrastructure colleagues to keep security and architecture aligned. You will also govern external service providers who handle day-to-day operations, holding them to our technical, quality and compliance standards. You will be a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders, and you will step in to coordinate during major security incidents. /ph3What you'll do /h3ulliDefine and evolve the network security architecture across corporate, data centre, cloud and manufacturing environments, applying security-by-design and zero trust principles /liliLead the security dimension of network projects, covering firewall and segmentation initiatives, secure remote access, and cloud-delivered security services /liliOwn the operational security performance of our network security services, driving quality, standards and continuous improvement with our external service providers /liliAct as expert escalation point for critical security incidents, working alongside process owners on incident, problem, vulnerability and change management /liliMaintain security standards, policies and procedures for firewalling, access and segmentation, and support audits and inspections with clear evidence and documentation /liliServe as the reference point on network security technologies and trends, guiding technical decisions together with our architects /li /ulh3Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills /h3ulliA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field /liliAt least 4 years of experience in network security engineering, with a track record of technical leadership /liliStrong hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies, including Secure Service Edge (SSE) /liliPractical experience with cloud-delivered security services /liliExperience with load balancing and reverse proxy technologies /liliExperience working in GxP environments would be a plus /liliFluency in English.
