pOur client, a public organization within the agriculture and fisheries sector, is seeking a Senior ICT Expert to lead technical improvements across their IT landscape. The role involves driving organization-wide strategic enhancements while maintaining a hands-on presence within a development team to ensure technical excellence in the context of large-scale policy implementation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify and analyze cross-departmental technical challenges across development, operations, and architecture teams. /li liPropose and implement organization-wide technical solutions and architectural improvements. /li liFoster cross-pollination of knowledge and best practices between different IT teams and business stakeholders. /li liDevelop and maintain complex business applications as a key member of a dedicated software project team. /li liAct as a technical mentor, staying updated on industry trends and transferring expertise to colleagues. /li liDrive the technical roadmap for software projects within an Agile environment. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li8+ years of expert experience in backend development using C# and .
NET. /li li8+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, with at least 4 years in organization-wide or enterprise-level environments. /li li5+ years of experience with ASP.
NET MVC. /li li3+ years of frontend development using Angular or AngularJS. /li liExpertise in modern web services and frameworks including ASP.
NET Core and ASP.
NET Web API. /li liExtensive knowledge of Entity Framework 6, WCF, and relational databases. /li liDeep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. /li liYou are proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate the initiative to drive technical innovation. /li liYou are Native in Dutch. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liExperience with unit testing. /li liKnowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. /li liExperience with frontend styling tools such as Angular Material, CSS, and Bootstrap. /li liFamiliarity with version control systems like TFS or Git. /li liPractical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies. /li /ul h3Offer /h3 ul liStart date: 01/12/2026 /li liDuration: 7 months (with possible extension) /li liWork regime: Full-time /li liLocation: Schaarbeek /li liWorking model: Hybrid (remote work possible) /li liContract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
