Microsoft 365 Engineer

pAs part of its organisational and digital transformation, a Brussels-based public sector organisation is strengthening its Microsoft 365 environment to improve collaboration, operational efficiency and security. We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with strong SharePoint Online expertise to design, secure, govern and support the recovery of collaboration workloads. The mission focuses on cyber-resilience, secure configuration and operational continuity rather than standard L1/L2 tenant administration. /ph3Responsibilities /h3pDesign and implement SharePoint Online information architecture, including sites, hubs, permissions, external sharing, content types and governance. /ppImprove cyber-resilience across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online and OneDrive. /ppImplement security hardening, privileged access controls, backup and restore processes, ransomware readiness and recovery runbooks. /ppConfigure Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, guest access and application consent. /ppAdminister Microsoft Intune compliance policies, configuration profiles and device compliance signals used in Conditional Access. /ppSupport Microsoft Purview information protection, including sensitivity labels, DLP and retention policies. /ppAutomate administration, inventory and security operations using PowerShell. /ppSupport Microsoft 365 security incident response and workload recovery. /ppDocument current and target architectures, technical standards, operating procedures and handover materials. /ppCollaborate with security, infrastructure and business stakeholders to reduce collaboration and data-sharing risks. /ph3Technical skills /h3h3Must have /h3pMinimum 4 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 experience. /ppAdvanced practical SharePoint Online administration, architecture and governance expertise. /ppExperience across Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Online. /ppStrong understanding of least privilege, external sharing, guest access, privileged roles and data leakage risks. /ppConfirmed Microsoft Intune experience with device compliance, configuration profiles and Conditional Access integration. /ppConfirmed PowerShell expertise for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID and Intune. /ppParticipation in at least one cyber-resilience, tenant-hardening, backup and restore, information-protection or incident-recovery programme. /ppWorking knowledge of Microsoft Purview information protection, including sensitivity labels, DLP and retention, at minimum Junior/Confirmed level. /ppProfessional working proficiency in English. /ph3Should have /h3pExperience implementing and documenting practical Microsoft 365 governance and recovery procedures. /ppStrong ability to work with security, infrastructure and business stakeholders. /ppExperience with Microsoft 365 backup and restore tooling, including native or third-party solutions. /ppExperience conducting and validating recovery drills. /ph3Nice to have /h3pDutch language proficiency. /ppExperience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud Apps or Microsoft Sentinel integrations. /ppBasic Power Platform experience, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps in SharePoint environments. /ppMicrosoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, SC-400, MS-500 or equivalent practical experience. /ph3Who we are /h3pCommunity Consulting goes beyond traditional consulting; it’s all about fostering connections in an atmosphere of trust and confidence.br/bTransparency Honesty /b : We say things as they are.
