About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Business Analyst to support business process optimization and transformation initiatives within a leading utility organization. In this role, you will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and functional teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective solutions. You will play a key role in analyzing existing processes, designing future-state processes, supporting testing activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across SAP-focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Perform AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis and process optimization. Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making. Identify, prioritize, and document business pain points, benefits, and improvement opportunities. Develop business cases and recommendations for process enhancements. Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and operating procedures. Write User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and test cases. Support and coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions. Collaborate closely with functional analysts, project teams, and business users. Contribute to both Agile and Waterfall project environments. Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Strong experience with SAP modules such as IS-U, FI, MM, SD, RACC, FICA, and FICO. Proven experience in business process management (BPM) and process optimization. Extensive experience performing AS-IS and TO-BE analysis. Strong data analysis capabilities. Experience writing UAT test cases and supporting testing activities. Experience creating business process documentation, work instructions, and operational procedures. Proficiency with process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio or Signavio. Experience working within a Distribution System Operator (DSO) environment. Experience participating in both Agile and Waterfall projects. Fluent French language skills (C2 level). Nice-to-Have Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or similar BI solutions. Experience with requirements engineering and requirements analysis. Experience designing and delivering user training programs. Utility sector experience, particularly within energy distribution environments.
