Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid) Duration: 12-Month Initial Contract Rate: €700–€750 per day Onsite Requirement: 8 days per month in the Brussels office The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Agile / Scrum Delivery Manager to join a leading international financial markets organisation, delivering strategic technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This is a senior delivery role combining the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and Delivery Manager. You will lead multiple Agile teams while ensuring projects are delivered successfully through strong governance, planning, stakeholder engagement and delivery leadership. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable working in Agile and Waterfall environments and will have experience delivering change within wholesale financial markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead up to two Scrum teams across both local and offshore locations.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to manage, refine and prioritise product backlogs.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and help increase Agile maturity across delivery teams.
- Manage end-to-end delivery from requirements through design, build, testing, implementation and production.
- Define project governance, delivery plans, resource allocation and project milestones.
- Monitor delivery progress, budgets, risks, dependencies and project health.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives.
- Work alongside Enterprise and Solution Architects to assess solution feasibility and align delivery with strategic objectives.
- Manage third-party suppliers and external partners where required.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality. Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager or Delivery Manager.
- Experience leading multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
- Experience managing hybrid and offshore delivery teams.
- Strong background delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale technology programmes throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across both business and technology.
- Strong governance, planning, risk and dependency management experience.
- Experience coaching Agile teams and driving continuous improvement. Financial Markets Experience Candidates must have experience within wholesale financial markets, ideally with exposure to one or more of the following:
- Securities Settlement
- Clearing
- Custody
- Capital Markets
- UK Equities
- Fixed Income / Bonds
- Post-Trade Operations Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM or equivalent).
- PRINCE2, PMP or other recognised Project Management certification.
- Previous people management or direct team leadership experience.
- Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments. Personal Attributes
