Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions.
- Analyze business processes and system requirements to provide efficient and scalable SAP EWM solutions.
- Conduct business requirement workshops and translate business needs into SAP EWM functionalities.
- Design, configure, customize, and test SAP EWM solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and support ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and custom programs related to SAP EWM.
- Design and implement user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and custom developments within the SAP EWM landscape.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality integrated SAP solutions.
- Identify functional and technical gaps and recommend appropriate enhancements or custom ABAP developments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM application issues while providing timely production support.
- Manage transports, system changes, and emergency fixes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, test scripts, and support documentation.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and support projects.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and TM.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance to project teams and business users. Required Skills Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development within SAP EWM.
- Experience developing: Reports Interfaces Enhancements Forms Conversions User Exits BAdIs Custom Programs
- Strong experience in SAP EWM configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, PP, TM, and other SAP modules.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting SAP applications.
- Strong understanding of SAP transport management and change management processes. Functional Skills
- Expertise in warehouse management processes and SAP EWM business functionality.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience conducting workshops, solution design sessions, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, inbound, outbound, and internal logistics processes. Preferred Qualifications
- SAP EWM Certification is preferred.
- SAP ABAP Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience working on S/4HANA EWM implementations is highly desirable.
- Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.
