Description & SummaryAs a Compliance Business Partner within PwC Canada’s Business Enablement team, you will act as a strategic advisor to business units, providing independent compliance guidance, oversight, and challenge. Operating as a second line within the Firm, you will ensure all business units across Lines of Service understand and meet internal and external compliance requirements, supporting risk management and business objectives. This role is crucial for translating complex regulatory frameworks into clear, actionable guidance, driving improvements, and enhancing PwC’s commitment to integrity and excellence.
Meaningful Work You'll Be Part OfProvideindependent guidance and oversight to business units on regulatory and Network requirementsEnsure requirements are understood and appropriately addressed across Lines of ServiceTranslate complex and overlapping compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidanceCollaborate with subject matter experts to stay current with laws, regulations, and Network StandardsDevelop and deliver training programs on compliance policies, procedures, and best practicesMonitor and evaluate effectiveness of existing compliance practices, recommending improvementsConduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and address vulnerabilitiesSupport risk and business process owners with internal audit remediationReport on compliance status, risk exposures, and remediation actions in partnership with the E&C LeaderLead and manage onshore and offshore teams dedicated to Ethics & Compliance functionExperiences and Skills You'll Use to SolveHold a Canadian CPA and/orbachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business,Lawor related fieldis an assetExtensive experience in compliance, risk management, or internal controlsStrong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practicesExceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProven ability to lead and manageprofessionally diverseteamsDetail-oriented with proactive and practical approach to resolving issueswith strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesRelationship building and influencing stakeholders at all levelswith the abilityto deliver impactful guidance to business unit leaders with varying levels of complianceexpertiseStrong project management and change management skillsPwC Canada is committed to cultivating an inclusive, hybrid work environment. The salary range for this position is $116,400
- $166,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
