The Junior Manufacturing Controller supports the controlling activities of the manufacturing perimeter, with a strong focus on operational understanding and cost analysis.

The role works in close collaboration with production and engineering teams to develop a detailed understanding of manufacturing processes and associated cost drivers. The position contributes to cost transparency, variance analysis, and performance monitoring, while financial technical topics are covered by the Senior Manufacturing Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support Collaborate with production, engineering, and plant teams to understand manufacturing processes and cost drivers Develop a solid understanding of shop floor operations through regular interaction with operational teams Translate operational activities into cost-related insights

Cost Analysis Support analysis of manufacturing costs (labor, overhead, material variances) Investigate cost deviations and contribute to root cause analysis Assist in improving cost visibility at process and product level

Performance Monitoring Support tracking of plant KPIs and operational performance indicators Contribute to variance analysis versus budget and forecast Prepare and maintain reporting files and supporting analyses

Continuous Improvement Contribute to cost optimization initiatives and efficiency improvements Support ad-hoc analyses on specific operational or cost topics

Profile & Qualifications Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent Finance background is not required but considered a plus

Experience Initial experience (internship or 1–3 years) in manufacturing, operations, or controlling is an advantage Strong interest in industrial environments is expected

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills Good knowledge of Excel SAP knowledge is a plus

Languages English (mandatory) Dutch (plus)
