Job Description

As part of a dynamic and growing organization, you'll take the lead in designing and executing a comprehensive rewards strategy aimed at attracting and retaining top talent, while also ensuring employee satisfaction and engagement across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with external partners and internal HR teams, you'll ensure the seamless execution of payroll processes and employee administrative functions, maintaining accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
  • You'll be responsible for developing and deploying a robust total rewards framework that aligns with organizational goals and attracts, motivates, and retains talent.
  • Manage the administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are aligned with local market practices and legal requirements.
  • Guide and support a dedicated HR team, fostering growth and aligning efforts to departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular updates, optimizing current reporting practices to enhance efficiency and quality. You will also be involved in streamlining reporting tools and methods.
  • Ensure HR policies are consistently updated and in line with legal standards, providing legal expertise on employment-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or bring equivalent experience.
  • You bring 10+ years of experience in Payroll and Compensation & Benefits, combining both strategic insight and hands-on expertise.
  • You have a solid track record in people management, with the ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • You possess an in-depth knowledge of Belgian social legislation and Total Rewards frameworks.
  • You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English, enabling you to operate effectively in a complex, multilingual environment.
  • You are an excellent communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including C-level executives, employee representatives, and internal teams.
  • You thrive in complex and highly regulated environments, navigating challenges with structure, rigor, and adaptability.
