Junior Supply Chain Engineer - English required - ALTEN Belgium

The Position As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer, to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.

As a Supply Chain Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :

Supply Chain Coordination : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and facilitate seamless supply chain operations. Inventory control : Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, analyzing demand patterns, and implementing effective replenishment strategies. Data Analysis : Utilize analytical tools and techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed decision-making. Supplier Relationship Management : Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Order Fulfillment : Monitor order processing and fulfillment activities to meet customer expectations. Address any issues related to order accuracy and timeliness. Kaizen : Actively participate in the continuous improvement of supply chain processes. Propose and implement enhancements to streamline operations and reduce costs. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams such as logistics, finance, and sales to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.

Your profile:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. 1 year of experience in supply chain management or a related role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Familiarity with PowerBI. Fluent in English; additionally French or Dutch is a plus.
