They are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill an immediate full-time remote Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer opening. As the Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer, you will lead the design and development of next-generation patient care products

Responsibilities:
/h3 ul liLead the end-to-end design process from concept development to production-ready solutions, ensuring all designs go through rigorous DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis. /li liTranslate internal product briefs, caregiver feedback, VOC data, and customer reviews into innovative, user-centered product concepts. /li liApply deep materials knowledge to select the most suitable materials that balance aesthetic with structural durability and cost-efficiency. /li liCreate advanced CAD models and detailed technical design and engineering documentation, utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and structural simulations to validate mechanical integrity and performance before prototyping. /li liDesign and validate mockups, prototypes, and functional test samples. /li liCollaborate closely with engineers, sourcing partners, and marketing to balance creativity with cost targets, supplier capabilities, and timelines. /li liOptimize design-to-prototype cycle times and improve design efficiency. /li liMaintain high standards of manufacturability, functional performance, and customer satisfaction (targeting 4.5+ product ratings). /li liCommunicate effectively with international manufacturing partners, including Asian/China suppliers. /li /ul h3Expected Outcomes: /h3 ul liDeliver 4–6 fully engineered, manufacturable product designs within the first 3 months. /li liDevelop final production-ready samples of 12–18 new SKUs by the end of 2026. /liliAchieve 30% contribution margin in design cost modeling. /li liOptimize and meet quarterly design-to-prototype cycle time targets within the first 6 months. /li liImplement a structured, user-driven design process for top legacy products within 12 months. /li liEstablish and maintain a repeatable, scalable design documentation system. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in Industrial Design or Product Design. /li li2+ years designing mass-produced consumer, HME, or DME (patient care) products. /li liExperience taking products from concept to mass production. /li liExperience in mechanical design, prototyping, simulation, and testing. /li liExperience working within manufacturing and supplier constraints. /li liExperience communicating and collaborating with Asian/Chinese manufacturers. /li liExperience designing products for marketplaces influenced by public customer reviews. /li liExperience with mechanical CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape. /li liExperience with cost modeling and margin-focused design decisions. /li liStrong analytical skills with the ability to structure qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design improvements. /li liDeep understanding of ergonomics, usability, and user-centered design principles. /li liClose attention to detail and commitment to excellence. /li liProactive problem-solver with a strong ownership mindset. /li liExcellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. /li liHigh adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-scaling environment. /li /ul h3Core Competencies Values: /h3 ul liAttention to Detail – Nothing slips through the cracks. /li liCommitment Work Ethic – Willingness to go the distan
