Automotive Assistant Buyer

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Automotive Assistant Buyer in our Automotive team.

As part of the Purchasing team at a well-known automotive company, you will help develop future vehicles. The role involves managing business relationships with suppliers and contributing to strategic purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare approval documents and ensure that procurement systems are kept up to date.
• Analyze supplier bids, compare prices, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Prepare for and participate in commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Monitor price trends, raw materials, and project costs.
• Identify and monitor supplier risks and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Contribute to value analysis (VA), value engineering (VE), and value management (VM) initiatives, track actions, and report on procurement performance.

Profile

• You have a university degree or higher education in business, purchasing or engineering.
• You have a good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• You have an interested in the automotive industry.
• You are fluent in English.
