Lead character rigging for nWave’s animated feature Yes Chef.
Location: Brussels, Belgium — Hybrid, three days on-site. Full-time, 38 hours per week, with three days on-site in Brussels. Production engagement runs from now to February 2028; relocation readiness is asked in the application.
What you will do
- Organise rigging assignments and validate rigs before animation handoff.
- Build character and prop rigs while resolving deformation and production issues.
- Improve rigging tools and coordinate requirements with modeling, animation and production.
What the studio is looking for
- Experience as a rigging supervisor, lead or senior artist.
- Strong Maya, Python and MEL skills, including facial rigging and deformation.
- Fluent French and working English; stylised feature-animation experience is valuable.
