We want you to be a part of our team, from Luxembourg - Remote, as anIntermediate Data Engineer .
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
- Build and optimize Data Lakes and Data Lakehouse solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools.
- Design scalable data models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) to support analytics and reporting.
- Implement data quality, governance, security, and lineage frameworks.
- Create dashboards, KPIs, and self-service BI solutions for business stakeholders.
- Optimize SQL queries, database performance, and data platform costs.
- Define and maintain CI/CD processes and Infrastructure as Code practices for BI environments.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in English (C1).
Mandatory Experience
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools (Azure Data Factory, dbt, Informatica, Talend, SAP Data Services, etc.).
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Data Warehousing and Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, and Business Intelligence solutions
- Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security best practices
- Experience working in Agile environments and modern DevOps practices
