The selected professional will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of modern digital solutions, playing a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance back-end services. Working with cutting-edge technologies and best practices in software engineering, cloud computing, data management, security, and distributed architectures, the successful candidate will support mission-critical applications within a major European institution. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop, maintain, and optimize back-end applications and services using Java and Spring-based technologies. /liliDesign, build, and secure RESTful APIs and web services that support mission-critical business processes. /liliImplement core business logic and scalable server-side solutions ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability. /liliDesign and manage data storage solutions, working with both relational and NoSQL databases. /liliIntegrate front-end components with server-side logic and distributed systems. /liliWork with Elasticsearch to build and optimize search capabilities, indexing strategies, and query performance. /liliDevelop and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka. /liliApply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure data storage, and application monitoring. /liliTroubleshoot complex technical issues using monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic APM, and OpenTelemetry. /liliDevelop and maintain unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD processes to ensure software quality and reliability. /liliWork with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support application deployment and scalability. /liliCollaborate in Agile teams within an international and multicultural environment, producing technical documentation and sharing knowledge across teams. /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For /h3ulliUniversity degree and extensive professional experience in IT environments. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience in software development. /liliMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing Java applications. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience working with Spring Framework / Spring Boot. /liliMinimum 3 years of experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing, search optimization, query design, and performance monitoring. /liliMinimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka in distributed system architectures. /liliProven experience designing, developing, and securing REST APIs and web services. /liliStrong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, and experience working with NoSQL databases. /liliKnowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication standards. /liliExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based application environments. /liliKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic APM, or OpenTelemetry. /liliExperience using Git workflows and working within Agile development environments. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality, scalability, and performance. /liliExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team. /liliEnglish level B2 or higher. French would be considered an asset. /liliAWS Certified Developer Associate, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, CKAD certification, or equivalent will be considered a plus. /li /ulh3What
