SAP FS-CM Functional Consultant/Developer

h3Tasks and responsibilities /h3 pbRole Overview /b /p pThe SAP FS-CM Functional Consultant/Developer is responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, development and support of solutions in the SAP Claims Management (FS-CM) module. The role combines a thorough understanding of the claims-handling lifecycle with strong SAP configuration and ABAP development skills to deliver tailored claims solutions and support regulatory compliance. /p pbFunctional Consulting Configuration /b /p ul liAnalyze complex business requirements from claims and operations stakeholders, including claims adjusters and claims auditors, and translate them into effective SAP FS-CM solutions. /li liConfigure and customize the core FS-CM components, including: ul liClaims Product Configuration, such as claim item groupings and coverage determination. /li liThe Claim Process Model and status management. /li liReserve Management, Payment Handling and Subrogation/Recovery processes. /li liRules for Fraud Management and integration with claims analytics. /li liInterfaces and integration points with SAP FS-CD (Collections Disbursements), SAP FS-PM (Policy Management) and FICO/GL. /li /ul /li liDesign and document detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (RICEF). /li liExecute unit, integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide comprehensive training and documentation. /li /ul pbDevelopment Technical Implementation /b /p ul liDevelop and modify ABAP and ABAP OO programs for custom claims-related requirements. /li liUse and extend FS-CM-specific technical components, including BAdIs, User Exits and enhancement points within the Claim Handler's Desktop. /li liDevelop interfaces for exchanging data with external systems, such as medical providers and repair shops, through web services or APIs. /li liTroubleshoot and debug ABAP code and complex FS-CM configurations. /li liContribute to technical upgrades, patching and performance optimization within FS-CM. /li /ul pbRequired Qualifications Experience /b /p ul liExpert knowledge of the SAP FS-CM technical and functional architecture, including Claim Header, Claim Item, Participant and Claim Handler's Desktop. /li liProficiency in configuring the Claim Process Model and Coverage Determination, with a deep understanding of payments and reserves. /li liAdvanced ABAP programming skills, including experience with FS-CM development objects such as custom events and enhancements. /li liProficiency in debugging and performance analysis, as well as familiarity with SAP data models, particularly in FS-CM. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /li liAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team. /li liAt least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FS-CM. /li liDemonstrated expertise in both functional customizing and ABAP development in the FS-CM context. /li liStrong understanding of claims business processes in at least one major insurance line, such as PC/Non-Life, Health or Auto. /li liStrong integration knowledge or experience with FS-PM and FS-CD. /li /ul pbLanguage /b /p ul liGood English /li liFrench is a plus /li /ul pbLocation /b /p ul liNearshore/offshore /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 pExperience as a Medior Application Developer. /p pbLanguages /b /p ul liDutch or French /li liEnglish /li /ul pExperience with C is an asset. /p h3Offer /h3 pYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
