- yearly /li /ulh3Job Description /h3h3About the role /h3pIn this high-impact role within our matrix organization, the HR BP supports the local HR GWO (Global Workforce Operations) team in Turnhout, Belgium, while serving as a strategic business partner to the local leadership team and reporting directly to the HR Director. This position also offers a chance to take on a regional HR leadership role within the Regional Leadership Team within a foreseeable timeframe. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3pThis position operates on a hybrid work model out of our Turnhout, Belgium location. /ppDevelop, deploy, and lead the implementation of HR strategies supporting business objectives, corporate and legal requirements, including DEI, employee wellbeing, leadership development, and employee engagement. /ppPartner with European HR leadership, Corporate Functional HR Leaders, OD, and TA teams to deliver strategic HR initiatives and drive the effective implementation of the performance management system. /ppImplement processes and systems to support recruitment of high-caliber talent, enhance HR capability and service delivery, and drive succession planning tools. /ppLead communication, culture, health, wellbeing, and community programs, ensuring Turnhout HR policies and processes align with legal, business, and cultural requirements. /ppManage collective labor agreement (CLA) negotiations, foster collaboration with unions and works councils, and coach the local leadership team to drive an engaging company culture. /ph3Qualifications /h3p10+ years work experience in generalist human resources positions, ideally within a manufacturing environment and at manager level. /ppSolid (working) experience in Belgium employment legislation, employee relations collective agreements negotiation, as well as strategic planning and analytical/financial skills. /ppExceptional leadership and influencing skills combined with a passion for continuous improvement/innovation / change management / cross-cultural awareness/diversity, equity, and inclusion. /ppStrong communication skills and the ability to be an inspirational coach and empower your team. /ppFluent in English and Dutch. /ppSkilled in building key relationships at all levels of the organization with an “executive maturity” mindset to work as a “Business Partner”. /ppCreativity, excitement, and innovation, entrepreneurial spirit for growing a sustainable business to set your career at Avery Dennison. /ph3Additional Information /h3h3What
