Full-Stack Java Developer

h3Tasks and responsibilities /h3 /brpWithin a large-scale business transformation programme, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to strengthen existing teams. /p /brpYou will join a department of around 70 people and contribute to the handover, refactoring and greenfield development of business applications. In this role, you support analysts and business objectives while covering the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment. /p /brh3Responsibilities: /h3 /brul /brliDevelop and maintain business applications in Java. /li /brliBuild application components and web services. /li /brliContribute to the design of architectural components and technical building blocks in collaboration with the technical lead and software architects. /li /brliTake part in technical working groups, Scrum ceremonies and, when needed, meetings with end users. /li /brliSupport testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting. /li /brliWork in complex, integrated environments and quickly understand existing code bases. /li /brliHelp guide junior team members and integrate smoothly into an established team. /li /br /ul /brh3Your profile /h3 /brul /brliYou have at least 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in Java development, ideally in a full-stack role. /li /brliYou have experience in project teams delivering greenfield applications from scratch. /li /brliYou are familiar with multi-system integration and complex technical landscapes. /li /brliYou have strong practical knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework. /li /brliYou have experience with JPA and Hibernate. /li /brliYou are comfortable with security patterns, including Spring Security. /li /brliYou have hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful web services. /li /brliYou have worked with Spring Batch, SOA, microservices and CQRS. /li /brliYou apply test-driven development and continuous integration practices, using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cypress and Selenium. /li /brliYou combine front-end knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular with solid back-end development skills. /li /brliYou are familiar with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, SVN or Git, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, JBoss and Tomcat. /li /brliYou have experience with relational databases and O/R mapping, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server. /li /brliYou can read and understand BPMN, UML and technical documentation standards. /li /brliYou work comfortably with Jira and Confluence. /li /brliKnowledge of Talend, ZK, Oracle or Kafka is a plus. /li /brliYou are familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies. /li /brliYou are solution-oriented, customer-oriented and strong in problem solving. /li /brliYou have an active knowledge of French or Dutch, both spoken and written, including technical documentation. /li /brliYou communicate effectively in English, especially in writing and within the team. /li /br /ul /brh3Offer /h3 /brpYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
