You're a collaborative team player who values transparency and always seeks to improve and innovate. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libBuild and evolve the core AI tutoring system /b, including prompt architectures, agentic workflows, and real-time adaptive behaviors. /li libRun rigorous experimentation and evaluation /b, developing custom metrics and frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and improve model reliability. /li libDesign and implement scalable, maintainable software /b, integrating AI capabilities with platform systems, content pipelines, and user experience components. /li libCollaborate cross-functionally /b with educators, content creators, and product teams to translate pedagogical goals into technical solutions. /li libPrototype and productionize novel model interactions /b, leveraging emerging research and capabilities to advance the tutor's intelligence. /li libEnsure quality, safety, and observability /b through monitoring, testing, guardrails, and iterative refinement of model behavior. /li libShare knowledge and elevate teammates /b, contributing to a culture of clarity, simplicity, and continuous learning. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Technical /h3 ul li1+ years building complex LLM-based systems, with strong prompt engineering intuition and experience designing agentic workflows. /li liAbility to design meaningful evaluation methods, including custom metrics and frameworks when off-the-shelf options fall short. /li liStrong software engineering fundamentals, architectural thinking, and fluency in Python; comfortable working with production infrastructure, cloud environments, and CI/CD. /li liActively follows AI research and emerging capabilities, applying new ideas creatively to real problems. /li /ul h3Product Pedagogy /h3 ul liStrong empathy for learners and content creators; able to translate pedagogical goals into system behavior and product decisions. /li liAbility to reason holistically across AI behavior, content structure, platform features, and user experience. /li liFamiliarity with learning science or a desire to develop expertise. /li /ul h3Character Collaboration /h3 ul liDrawn to difficult, ambiguous problems with no clear blueprint; persistent in exploring and refining solutions. /li liPreference for elegance and simplicity in system design. /li liCommunicates clearly across mediums and enjoys mentoring and collaborating in small, high-ownership teams. /li /ul h3Why Datacamp? /h3 ul liExciting challenges: Face new technical challenges daily, keeping your work engaging and rewarding. /li liCompetitive compensation:
