Senior Network Engineer

ppGreat assignments await you with our key account clients in rich and varied environments /ppOur client, a leading organization operating across several European countries, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to strengthen its network team. /ppYou will contribute to the operation, security and evolution of a large-scale network infrastructure covering office, industrial, data centre and cloud environments. The technical landscape is mainly Cisco-based and combines both IT and OT environments supporting business activities running 24/7. /pulliOperate, maintain and improve the network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, data centre and cloud environments. /liliSupport network services within both IT and OT environments. /liliPrepare and execute network changes with a strong focus on security, availability and operational continuity. /liliParticipate in infrastructure deployments and modernization projects. /liliContribute to data centre connectivity, cloud integration and WAN transformation initiatives. /liliConfigure and troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless and firewall technologies. /liliSupport users and technical teams located in Belgium and across Europe. /liliImplement network automation using Python and/or Ansible. /liliManage and use network monitoring, NAC, authentication and centralized logging solutions. /liliCollaborate closely with other ICT teams while remaining capable of working independently. /liliParticipate in an on-call rotation, up to one week out of four. /li /ulpYou have the following skills /ph3Key skills /h3ulliSenior-level experience in network engineering. /liliIn-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, IS-IS, MP-BGP and MST. /liliStrong experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies: ASR, ISR, Catalyst and Nexus. /liliStrong experience with Cisco Wireless. /liliExperience with Cisco ACI and/or Cisco SD-WAN. /liliExperience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure. /liliExperience with Python and/or Ansible for network automation. /liliGood understanding of firewall technologies, particularly Palo Alto and Check Point. /liliExperience with monitoring, NAC and centralized logging tools. /liliKnowledge of TACACS and RADIUS authentication. /liliExperience with Cisco ISE, Zabbix and/or Elastic is an advantage. /liliExperience in IT/OT or other business-critical environments is highly valued. /liliBackground in computer science or a related technical field. /liliProficiency in Dutch or French is mandatory, combined with fluent English. /liliWillingness to travel occasionally to Belgian sites and participate in standby duties. /liliA valid driving licence and access to a car are required. /liliYou have at least 6 years of professional experiences in IT /liliIf you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best /liliYou’re eager to learn, motivated and curious /liliLet’s have a chat /li /ulh3Advantages /h3ulliHospitalization insurance (partner/children incl.) /liliGroup insurance /liliDental insurance (partner/children included) /lili20 days statutory paid vacations (legal vacations cumulated for 1 year of work) /lili11 days recovery time work 38/40 per year (= annual average: 1 day per 20 days worked) if the client asks you to work 8h/day /liliRepresentation fee net per month. /liliInternet fee of € 40 per month. /liliCompany car with national fuel card OR Public transport reimbursed OR mobility package. /liliDaily fee of 5.50€ net /day provided. /liliSubscription GSM unlimited calls for Belgium (ITS subscription) /liliTraining plan (e-learning
