Presales Engineer

You will work closely with customers as their trusted advisor, and with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. Your deep understanding of our products, services, and the cybersecurity landscape will enable you to effectively address customer needs and demonstrate the value of our solutions. You will also participate and speak at trade shows, seminars, and other marketing events where NetWitness is actively participating. /p h3Key

Responsibilities:
/h3 ul liServe as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle. /li liCollaborate with the sales team to develop and execute successful sales strategies. /li liConduct in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the technical capabilities and business value of the NetWitness solutions. /li liBuild and maintain strong technical relationships with key customer stakeholders and be the customer's trusted advisor. /li liUnderstand customer's security challenges, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure to propose tailored solutions. /li liDesign, deploy, and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and evaluations, ensuring successful outcomes and demonstrating the effectiveness of the NetWitness solutions. /li liAssist in the creation of technical documentation, proposals, and RFP responses. /li liDeliver health-checks and workshops for existing customers, retaining and expanding their NetWitness footprint. /li liDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, competitive landscape, and industry trends. /li liStay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats, attacks, and trends. /liliWork closely with the product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback, market trends, and contribute to product development. /li liParticipate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and generate leads. /li liOwn and maintain the technical relationship with the NetWitness partners community within the assigned territory. /li liProvide technical training and support to sales team members and partners. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical pre-sales, security consulting, or similar roles in the cybersecurity industry. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt and convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. /li liEnglish and Dutch speaker /li liDeep understanding of networking protocols, network security concepts, and security architectures. /li liStrong knowledge of threat detection methodologies, incident response processes, and common attack vectors. /liliExperience with Threat Detection and Response solutions, such as SIEM, NDR, EDR, UEBA, and SOAR. /li liProven ability to conduct effective product demonstrations and POCs. /li liProven track record of supporting successful sales cycles and achieving sales targets. /li liIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SANS, or similar are a plus. /li liFamiliarity with Linux CLI and basic scripting/programming skills. /li liWillingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events. /li liTeam player with a genuine collaborative attitude and willingness to share with and inspire others. /li /ul
