This role involves designing, automating, and securing enterprise-grade database services in Azure while transitioning traditional practices toward a cloud-native engineering model. /p /brh3Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign and deploy enterprise-grade database services within cloud landing zones, focusing on networking, security, and high availability. /li /brliEstablish governance and data modeling standards for CosmosDB and NoSQL environments. /li /brliIndustrialize data refresh, masking, and scrambling solutions to ensure data privacy and compliance across platforms. /li /brliDevelop and maintain reusable deployment frameworks using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. /li /brliPerform performance analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity planning using advanced monitoring tools. /li /brliProvide technical leadership and coaching to team members while ensuring operational excellence. /li /br /ul /brh3Requirements /h3 /brul /brliYou possess 8+ years of experience in database administration with SQL Server and T-SQL. /li /brliYou bring 5+ years of cloud database engineering experience focusing on Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB. /li /brliYou possess 5+ years designing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps. /li /brliYou have experience with cloud platform components including Azure Landing Zones, Private Endpoints, and Managed Identities. /li /brliYou bring proven expertise in performance troubleshooting using Azure Monitor, Query Store, and Extended Events. /li /brliYou possess strong knowledge of Azure KeyVault, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery strategies. /li /brliYou're a technical leader with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and strong collaboration skills. /li /brliYou have a good command of English combined with a good knowledge of Dutch or French. /li /br /ul /brh3Nice to Haves /h3 /brul /brliExperience in highly regulated environments and building database governance frameworks. /li /brliKnowledge of SQL Managed Instance, Azure Functions, or AKS. /li /brliFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, SQL Sentry, or Redgate. /li /brliExperience with data modeling tools like Erwin or Azure Purview. /li /brliUnderstanding of TOGAF or Archimate frameworks. /li /br /ul /brh3Offer /h3 /brul /brliStart date: 01/2027 /li /brliDuration: 12 months (extension possible) /li /brliLocation: Brussels /li /brliContract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /br /ul
