The role focuses on the continuous development, optimization, and governance of a modern data platform to support advanced business use cases and data science initiatives. /pulliDesign and develop scalable data pipelines using bAzure Data Factory /b and bDatabricks /b. /liliImplement modern data architectures including bData Lake /b, bDelta Lake /b, and bLakehouse /b patterns. /liliManage bDatabricks Unity Catalog /b for data sharing, permissions, and robust governance. /liliAutomate data ingestion, transformation, and deployment processes to enhance platform efficiency. /liliMonitor and optimize resource consumption and performance within bAzure /b and bDatabricks /b environments. /liliCollaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to industrialize new analytics use cases. /li /ululli5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on bAzure /b cloud environments. /liliYou possess deep expertise in bAzure Databricks /b and bUnity Catalog /b, including bLakehouse /b design and security. /liliYou bring advanced skills in bSpark /b, bPySpark /b, and bDelta Lake /b for large-scale data processing. /liliYou have strong proficiency in bSQL /b and bPython /b for data manipulation and platform automation. /liliYou possess experience with bAzure Data Factory /b, bAzure Storage /b, bAzure SQL /b, and bKey Vault /b. /liliYou have knowledge of bCI/CD /b principles and bAzure DevOps /b applied to data engineering. /liliYou bring familiarity with application integration patterns such as bREST API /b and bAMQP /b. /liliYou're proactive and possess an analytical mindset with strong communication skills. /liliYou are fluent in bFrench /b or bDutch /b with professional proficiency in bEnglish /b. /li /ulh3Nice to Haves /h3ulliPossession of bMicrosoft Azure /b or bDatabricks /b certifications. /liliExperience with bPower BI /b administration and governance. /liliKnowledge of bTerraform /b or bInfrastructure as Code /b. /liliFamiliarity with real-time data streaming and bAzure Monitor /b. /liliBasic knowledge of bSAP /b data sources like bS/4HANA /b or bBW/4HANA /b. /li /ulullibStart date: /b 04/01/2027 /lilibDuration: /b 12 months /lilibWork regime: /b Full-time /lilibLocation: /b Brussels /lilibWorking model: /b Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week on-site) /lilibContract: /b Open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
