You will work primarily with bIBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Cognos Analytics and Cognos Controller /b, supporting systems used for financial planning, consolidation and reporting. /p pThe main focus of the role is to ensure the quality, accuracy and reliability of changes delivered across the bCognos environment /b, while also providing technical guidance and supporting the Architect Technical Manager when needed. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pYou will lead the QA and testing approach for the Cognos environment, including bUAT, regression testing and test automation /b, ensuring that financial data, reports and system changes are properly validated. /p pYou will establish and improve testing standards and processes across the development team, take ownership of the technical quality of releases and act as a technical escalation point when required. /p pYou will also maintain a strong understanding of the wider bapplication architecture and data integrations /b, contribute to technical design decisions and provide back-up for the Architect Technical Manager. /p pThe role involves mentoring junior developers and working closely with the Business Sponsor, Program Manager, Support Manager and technical teams to ensure reliable delivery and stable 24/7 operation of the systems. /p pWe are looking for a senior technical professional with bstrong hands‑on experience in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and Cognos Analytics /b, together with solid bQA and testing experience /b. Experience with bCognos Controller /b and a background in bfinancial systems, financial reporting, planning or consolidation /b are highly relevant. /p pYou should have experience with bUAT, regression testing, STLC and test automation /b, as well as an understanding of application architecture and data integration. Previous experience as a bTechnical Lead, Solution Architect or in a similar senior technical role /b would be a strong advantage. /p pStrong communication and stakeholder management skills are important, as you will work with both technical teams and business/finance stakeholders. You should be comfortable explaining complex technical topics in a clear, business-friendly way, mentoring less experienced colleagues and taking ownership of technical quality and releases. /p pbFluent English /b is required, together with the bability to work from our Brussels office as part of a hybrid working model. /b /p h3What
