h3Tasks and responsibilities /h3 pbRole overview /b /p pThis SAP FS-RI Functional Consultant role combines the end-to-end analysis of reinsurance processes with solution design and configuration in the SAP FS-RI module. You will apply your knowledge of reinsurance business processes, SAP configuration and functional analysis to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyse and interpret business requirements from reinsurance stakeholders, including Underwriting, Claims and Accounting, and translate them into effective SAP FS-RI solutions. /li liDesign system solutions based on the identified requirements. /li liDiscuss and agree on the solution setup with business stakeholders. /li liConfigure the core SAP FS-RI components, including: ul liBasic system settings, such as company codes and currencies. /li liTreaty management, including treaty master data, coverage and shares. /li liAssumed and ceded reinsurance setup. /li liBordereaux processing and accounting rules. /li liLoss and reserve processing. /li liSub-ledger functionalities and interfaces with SAP FICO/GL. /li /ul /li liDesign and document functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (RICEF). /li liConduct unit, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT). /li liProvide third-level support for complex incidents and problem resolution. /li /ul h3Required qualifications and experience /h3 ul liDeep knowledge of reinsurance business processes, including proportional, non-proportional and facultative reinsurance. /li liExpert configuration skills in SAP FS-RI. /li liStrong understanding of integration points with SAP FICO, FS-CD and SAP ECC/S/4HANA. /li liExcellent business analysis and requirements-gathering skills. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li liAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team. /li liA minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in reinsurance business processes. /li liA minimum of 3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience with the SAP FS-RI reinsurance solution. /li liExperience as a functional FS-RI consultant with configuration responsibilities. /li /ul h3Language requirements /h3 ul liGood English is required. /li liFrench is a plus. /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul liNearshore/offshore /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 pbExperience /b /p ul liExperience as a medior SAP Functional Consultant. /li /ul pbSkills /b /p ul liSAP /li liSAP FICO/GL /li /ul pbLanguages /b /p ul liDutch or French /li liEnglish /li /ul h3Offer /h3 pYou will be part of a growing Belgian SME where initiative and personal development are encouraged.
